3 people who each ordered different things, this was about the consensus rating among the three of us.Al pastor tacos were meh, asada tacos were okay. Didn't even toss in salsas for the tacos or even a lime wedge...Milanesa Torta was okay. Side of rice tasted like it'd been sitting in the fridge all week and tossed in the microwave just long enough to dry it out more but not long enough to actually warm it up.Torta ahogada in name only, we were all suspicious when asked what we wanted on it, and disappointed when the standard crispy shredded pork wasn't even an option...
Very well lit with frendky staff. Food was cooked to perfection and portions were plenty full, salsa needed a but more flavor I thought.Chips were good but maybe a bit warner would enlighten the dining experience.Great flavors!!
Extremely delicious and fresh food, prompt service, and did I mention that it was the best Mexican food have had in years? Very fresh and tasty. Everything was top-notch.
the surf and turf will have me coming back.our table was pretty clean and the service was good. the cops and salsa were very good. my partner said that the chilequiles were amazing - I tried and totally agree.this place is relatively low key - we lived in Pilsen two years without noticing it. it's definitely not a place to miss though.
